Chem E car 2014 team takes first place in April regionals
The CHBE ChemECar Team came first among 32 teams in the Regional competition in Pullman Washington on April 28, 2014. The team’s car was within 35 cm of the target. DETAILS

John Grace Invested an Officer of the Order of Canada
UBC Chemical & Biological Engineering professor John Grace was invested with the Order of Canada
in a ceremony at Rideau Hall on Wednesday May 7, 2014. He is among 10 new Officers of the Order of Canada - one of Canada's highest civilian honours, recognizing a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to community and service to Canada. Dr. Grace’s award recognises his contributions as a chemical engineer, notably to the development of cleaner technology for industrial processes and energy production. DETAILS
