Dr. Chad Bennington receives an award posthumously

On June 24, at its Biennal Conference on Mixing, held in Victoria, BC, the North American Mixing Forum awarded the NAMF Award for Excellence and Sustained Contributions to Mixing Research and Practice (posthumous) to Prof. Chad Bennington. Chad was very active in NAMF and served as Chair of the June, 2010 conference in Victoria. He was named co-chair (posthumous) for the final conference after his passing in February, 2010.

The North American Mixing Forum Award for excellence and sustained contributions to mixing research and practice is given annually to a NAMF member who is a resident of North America The award, which consists of a cash prize and a plaque, is sponsored by The Procter & Gamble Co., and is presented at the NAMF Awards Banquet at the AIChE Annual Meeting during which the Award recipient normally delivers an award lecture.
Dr Clara Gomez delivered the lecture on Chad’s research.
