The Alberta Student Energy Conference is a one-day student-organized conference that aims to bring students and industry professionals together. In the past, ASEC has welcomed over 250 students from across Alberta from Business, Engineering and Science faculties. This year’s conference provided students with excellent educational talks, networking opportunities, a career fair and a case competition which brought to the foreground important industry issues like crude by rail, fracking, renewable energy and more. The 2015 conference covered a variety of similar topics and provided the opportunity for students from across the country to learn about today’s relevant technologies in the energy industry.
