Richard Kerekes Receives TAPPI’s 2010 Gunnar Nicholson Gold Medal Award

 Richard J. Kerekes,  Professor Emeritus in CHBE,  was presented with the 2010 TAPPI Gunnar Nicholson Gold Medal  on May 4th in Atlanta, Georgia. The medal  is TAPPI’s most prestigious annual award and carries a cash prize valued at over US $60,000. Chad was born on January 9, 1957 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. His family moved to North Vancouver in 1960, where Chad attended school. Chad obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia in 1979.
